Terms of Service

Welcome to Baby Track. By downloading, installing, or using the Baby Track application ("the App") or accessing our website at babytrack.io ("the Website"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App or Website.

1. The Service

Baby Track is a baby tracking application that helps parents and caregivers log and understand their baby's feeding, sleep, diaper changes, growth, milestones, teeth, and other events. The App is available on iOS, Android, and as a web application.

The App can be used entirely offline with all data stored locally on your device. Optional cloud sync and household sharing features require creating an account and a Premium subscription.

2. Accounts

An account is not required to use Baby Track. If you create an account to enable cloud sync:

• You must provide a valid email address
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

You can sign up with an email and password, or authenticate using Google Sign-In.

3. Households and shared access

Baby Track allows you to create a household and invite other users (e.g., your partner, grandparents, nanny) to share baby tracking data. When you invite someone to your household:

• They can view and contribute to all baby data in the household
• Changes made by any member are synced to all other members
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share the data with the people you invite

4. Subscriptions and payments

Baby Track offers a free tier and an optional Premium subscription.

• Free: All tracking features including feedings, sleep, diapers, growth charts, milestones, teeth, custom events, reminders, insights, data export, and multiple baby profiles
• Premium: Cloud sync, backup, and sharing with other parents and caretakers across devices

Premium is available as a monthly (€3.99/month), yearly (€39/year).

A 7-day free trial is available for new subscribers. Payment processing is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Payment terms, renewal, and cancellation are governed by the respective app store's policies.

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes will not affect active subscription periods.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App to store or transmit content that is harmful, abusive, or violates the rights of others
• Create accounts through automated means or use bots to interact with the service

6. Your data

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into Baby Track. We do not claim any rights to your content. For details on how we handle your data, please see our Privacy Policy.

You can export your data at any time through the App and delete your account to remove all cloud-stored data from our servers.

7. Health disclaimer

Growth data, predictions, and developmental information provided by the App are based on WHO Child Growth Standards and general guidelines. They are not a substitute for professional medical evaluation. Never delay seeking medical advice because of information presented in the App.

8. Availability and updates

We strive to keep Baby Track available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may:

• Release updates that change, add, or remove features
• Perform maintenance that temporarily limits access to cloud features
• Discontinue the service with reasonable notice

Offline functionality (local data storage and tracking) will continue to work regardless of cloud service availability.

9. Intellectual property

The Baby Track application, website, brand, logo, design, and code are the intellectual property of Baby Track and its creators. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App or Website without written permission.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Baby Track and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data (local or cloud-synced)
• Decisions made based on information presented in the App
• Interruptions to the cloud sync service
• Unauthorized access to your account due to compromised credentials

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from the use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time and delete your account from the Settings screen or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with notice where practicable.

Upon termination, your cloud data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Data stored locally on your device is not affected.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and may notify you through the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts of Finland.
