Baby sleep analytics: see the shape of every night
A sleep diary tells you what happened yesterday. Sleep analytics show how weeks of nights fit together. Baby Track’s Sleep and Patterns tabs turn your logged naps and night sleep into charts you can actually read.

Every night at a glance
Night windows show each night as a bar from bedtime to the final wake-up. Next to it: the longest stretch per night with your all-time best, night wake-ups and night feeds per night, bedtime and wake-up consistency in minutes, and sleep efficiency (time asleep compared with the bedtime-to-wake-up span).
Wake windows in context
Instead of one average, wake windows are grouped by position in the day: before the first nap, the second, the third and before bed. Daily averages, naps per day, a nap-length distribution and a nap-schedule chart show how the day is changing. A “chance of being asleep” curve shows, in 15-minute steps, the share of days your baby was asleep at each time.
What affects the night?
The Patterns tab plots one dot per night against daytime nap minutes, bedtime or the last wake window before bed, with a correlation score and a plain-language reading. A weekday × hour heatmap shows the average minutes asleep in each hour. These are descriptive checks of your own data; correlation is not causation.
Sleep needs vary
The NHS notes that newborns sleep in short stretches and that sleep patterns and needs vary between babies. Safe-sleep guidance from NIH/NICHD concerns the sleep environment, which charts cannot assess. [1] [2]
What sleep analytics cannot tell you
- Charts reflect logged sleep only. Unlogged naps or wake-ups make totals and stretches look different from reality.
- Age-typical ranges are broad references, not targets, and the dashboard does not set wake windows or a schedule.
- A correlation between, for example, naps and night sleep in your log does not show that changing one will change the other.
Questions about Baby Track
Where do I find sleep analytics?
In the Sleep and Patterns tabs of the Baby Track web dashboard, which reads your Premium cloud-synced records.
How is a “night” defined?
Night sleep sessions are grouped by the evening they started. Bedtime is the first night sleep of that group and wake-up is the end of the last one; breaks between them count as wake-ups.
Can I see data for more than a week?
Yes. Choose 7, 14, 30 or 90 days, or all logged history.
